I did an interview today with NPR's Talk of the Nation about the use of Enrique's Journey for common reads on college campuses. We talked about, among other things, how universities are willing to teach about controversial issues like immigration.

Sonia, I have almost completed your book "Enrique's Journey" and decided to just google the title to see what was available online for information. That is how I came across your blog. Thank you for writing this story. While I've always been for sensible and compassionate immigration reform, now I see more than ever how much it is needed as well as financial and governmental reforms in the respective countries of origin. Thank you, again!
